NEW FEATURES: Video and Enhanced ABC

New to CoachThem, we now support video capabilities for your drills, in addition, to an enhanced ABC feature, so you can display your drills exactly how you want.

 

Video Integration

The most important part of drawing a drill is making sure that you, your coaches and your players can understand the flow of the drill and how it progresses. We've assisted here by adding in unique lines and icons for the sketchpad that can be referenced in the drill's description, but we know that sometimes, seeing your drill come to life visually can make a huge difference. Drill animation can help here, but with the extended time it takes to create an animated drill, we wanted to make it easier for you, so we brought in video.

CoachThem now has video integration that will allow you to attach a link from YouTube or Vimeo on your drill, allowing for a seamless viewing experience that works to compliment your drill diagram.

To use the new video feature, simply click the new video icon and add it to any place on the sketchpad. You can have multiple videos attached to your drills, so if you're breaking it up into stations or want to add a tutorial on a specific skill in the drill, you're not restricted to adding only one video!
 

 

Place the Video Camera on the sketchpad, as you would with any other icon and enter in your YouTube or Vimeo URL and Select Save.

After it's been added while using the Selection Tool, simply select the Video icon on the sketchpad and in its Properties select the Play button.

You can turn on and off camera icons on the sketchpad by simply selecting the Layer icon located to the left of the Save button.

The drill must be saved to use Layers.

Lastly, viewing your Video directly in your practice plan by clicking the Video icon!

Enhanced ABC

The final feature that we've added in this release in an enhanced ABC tool. Our previous ABC tool allowed you to put text on the ice, but we've beefed it up, adding NEW multi-line, align and size customisation features!

 

With these new additions, we're confident that you'll have a drill drawing experience like nothing else!
