Today we highlight the impactful initiatives of the NHLCA BIPOC Coaches Program and the NHLCA Female Coaches Program. In collaboration with the NHLCA, we're excited to showcase how these programs are reshaping hockey coaching and fostering opportunities.

The NHLCA Female Coaches Program embodies this principle, ushering in a new era of empowerment and involvement. Similarly, the NHLCA Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) Coaches Program represents a significant step toward engagement in professional sports, recognizing the importance of diverse voices for genuine progress. We got to speak with Pierre Allard, the Assistant Coach for the Red Bull Munchen team in Munich, Germany, a position he has held for the past 3 years. Before joining Red Bull Munchen, Allard spent 11 years as the Sports Science Director for the Montreal Canadiens. With over 50 years of experience in hockey, both as a player and a coach, Allard brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
