The Burlington Eagles' Experience on CoachThem

A subscriber for over five years, with a total of thirty-seven teams subscribed, Corey Locke, Executive Director of the Burlington Eagles Association, touches on why CoachThem is an important aspect of the organization.

We asked Corey, what are some of the challenges your association was facing prior to joining CoachThem and was the platform able to solve those issues? All hockey organizations want to maximize the amount of ice time they provide for their team, Corey says, and this platform allows coaches to be fully prepared ahead of time, wasting no time on the ice. There’s no, “where should the pucks be, or the cones, players, or even the coaches?” Ice time is valuable. Being prepared ahead of time, having all drills at the ready; it’s guaranteed to improve the overall efficiency of the team.

"CoachThem is innovative and stays ahead of its craft." -Corey reports.

Since subscribing, CoachThem is a tool that is used frequently by the Burlington Eagles as part of the association’s development plan. One of the key factors that encouraged Corey to become a subscriber was its user-friendly platform and the option to draw hockey drills online. According to Corey, it’s an easy way to share drills for both tech and non-tech savvy individuals. Since all data is available online with hockey drill drawing, it’s easy to distribute drills and information to coaches, assistant coaches, and skills coaches; it’s all online and all user-friendly.

We asked Corey, what would you say to associations who don’t subscribe to CoachThem? “I would jump all over it… the resources are easily accessible and being able to share them will only strengthen organizations and clubs in the hockey world” he exclaims! He continues to say that the platform provides a great number of drills and resources that allows them to find prepared drills, draw hockey drills, and create a hockey practice plan template.

In anticipation of future features, Corey explains that he admires the ambition CoachThem embodies. The platform is always developing and creating new ways to improve subscribers’ success. CoachThem is innovative and stays ahead of its craft as Corey reported.

We can address the difficulties associations and individuals experience on the ice every day. Our goal is to provide the easiest form of developing, using, and practicing drills for all teams. Draw hockey drills, but better!
