Time is Money with Marc Slawson

After talking with Marc Slawson, Head Coach of the 2009 Toronto Titans; a U15 AAA program that plays in the GTHL in the Ontario Hockey Federation, it’s understood that time is money and, of course, every minute on the ice counts.

“For us, CoachThem has a multi-purpose dimension to it,” says Slawson. He explained that the number one aspect which is the most beneficial to him and his team is that CoachThem is a huge time saver. Instead of having to go back to the hockey drawing board, diagram a practice, and review what the theme of the practice is during valuable ice time, the practice plan is prepared ahead of time and is distributed to players before even stepping foot into the arena.

With this, of course, there’s an expectation on the player's behalf to review the practice plan before arriving and to prepare any questions that could be addressed before hitting the ice. “From an economic standpoint, it saves us time and it saves us money by just allowing us to be more efficient,” Slawson says.
